Swedish designers Erik Nyberg and Gustav Ström created the WAVE Hammock for Belgian outdoor furniture manufacturer Royal Botania.
WAVE is built using electro-polished stainless steel and 2 types of perforated fabric, one for the upper roof section and another for the seated area. WAVE creates a unique floating impression by being pivoted on one single point at the base. The construction is strong enough to withstand the weight of people and weather conditions. The measurements are 300cm x 365cm x 255cm. The fabric is semi transparent, however it has the properties to block 86% of the sun’s rays.
